Georgina Sepa is a contemporary Australian artist whose work explores the playful and the profound through bold imagery, unexpected textures, and a touch of dark whimsy. Her practice spans painting, fibre, sculpture, and mixed-media, often re-imagining familiar forms in unconventional ways.
Her latest venture, Kool Kreamery, transforms sweet indulgences like ice creams, donuts, and cupcakes into vibrant art sculptures. Decadent creations that are delicious to the eyes but not edible. These works balance nostalgia and pop culture with fine craftsmanship, inviting viewers to see everyday treats as objects of beauty and desire.
Alongside Kool Kreamery, Georgina continues to develop collections that explore themes of identity, fantasy, and the unseen, from gothic-inspired portraits to sculptural reinterpretations of cultural icons. Across all her series, her work reflects a curiosity for transformation, taking the ordinary and making it extraordinary.
